In collaboration with the Croatian Red Cross, we developed Integration to go – a mobile application tailored to assist individuals who have relocated to Croatia and are in the process of integration. This solution responds to a clear need for a reliable, multilingual, and accessible digital tool that provides essential information and services required for everyday life in a new environment.
Multilingual interface and user adaptation
A core strength of the application lies in its ability to adapt to the user's language settings. Upon installation, the app automatically detects the system language and displays all content accordingly. For languages not yet supported, the app defaults to English. Support for both left-to-right and right-to-left writing systems ensures proper display and comfort for users from diverse linguistic backgrounds.
Dynamic content management
All application content is managed through a centralized administrative interface that communicates via REST API. This allows the Croatian Red Cross to update and adapt information in real time—such as legal guidance, aid locations, access to healthcare, education, or administrative steps—without requiring users to reinstall or manually update the app. This makes the system both flexible and scalable, particularly in response to changing legal frameworks or humanitarian needs.
Ease of use and mobile accessibility
Developed for both Android and iOS platforms, the application was built with simplicity and speed in mind. Its user interface is clean, responsive, and intuitive, even for individuals with limited digital literacy. Emphasis was placed on minimizing distractions and ensuring clear navigation through relevant content categories.

By helping newcomers gain direct access to accurate information and essential services, the app strengthens their ability to navigate the challenges of relocation and adapt more effectively to their new community.
